Today is Jim Morrison’s birthday. I took this photograph on October 30, 1970, during his historic Miami Trial.

Over 3 million people turned out for this parade up Broad Street. These photographs were taken on the corner of Broad and Morris, just two blocks from my house. A good time was had by all. Last World Series for the Phils was 28 years ago.

Today is William Penn’s birthday, 1644. He is the founder of Pennsylvania. This statue of him sits on City Hall, Philadelphia. He is looking towards the Delaware River, where he landed in the New World.

Today is the anniversary of my testimony in the Jim Morrison Miami Trial, 38 years ago.
This is a rare photograph of Jim smiling. It was taken in the Dade County Courthouse in October 1970.
