Room with a View

We were driving through Downingtown, PA (location of the diner in the “The Blob” movie – Steve McQueen 1958) when I spotted this derelict building (I love to photograph them for some reason). We drove past and Arlene started laughing, “Did you see that sign pointing to the shack?” We turned around and I composed this shot.

I took more photographs on the train tracks behind it. A minute later, a train came speeding by.

Lesson: Don’t assume you can see down the tracks at what is coming. This train was whipping!!!
