Today I scanned and uploaded a copy of my testimony at Jim Morrison’s Trial. I testified on September 2, 1970 at the Dade County Courthouse. I was his first defense witness. I also added a link to the testimony at the bottom of the Morrison Story.
I made settlement this week with the Doors Music Company. They had used three of my photographs in their new book, The Doors by The Doors. The photographs were used without license AND miscredited to another photographer. There were three other photographs that were licensed and credited, however. The book & CD/DVD Boxset collection were released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the band.
Rino Records licensed one of my photographs, Jim Morrison #5 (Jim with the lamb) for the Perception Box Set. It is a companion to book The Doors published. It’s a 6 CD, 6 DVD set. My photograph is on the DVD gallery and insert booklet for the Soft Parade era.
Today my wife and I took a train to NY City for an interview to be part of a VH1 show. Part of the All Access Series. The show will be called Indecent Exposure. The show will air next month. They are licensed for three years.
The interview was unpaid, but they licensed eight of my photographs for the show, incuding a self-portrait I took in 1969.
